Howdy friends. Hope you’re all keeping on alright out there.
A few weeks back (a month or more, maybe? what is time, anyway), I sat down over Zoom with D.T. Robbins, a writer whose work I admire and who I’ve gotten to know casually online.
I’m only going to write what I think is funny rather than what I think might make people laugh. Or maybe something I write that I think is funny, someone else will think is quite sad. If I find it funny, I want to write it because what’s the point if I don’t do it? What’s the point in doing something you don’t want to do in the first place?
The interview is up at the Malarkey Books website, so check it out. If what we get into floats your boat, I’d urge you to pick up a copy of D.T.’s new book. It’s easy to get if you live in the States. If you’re in Canada, I’d suggest ordering it via your local independent book store (or ordering it from McNally delivery), rather than paying a king’s ransom in postage from the US.
