Well friends, it’s been a cold week here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and across the frozen prairies. Real cold. But such is winter.
In that spirit, I dug up an old poem that appeared in a paw in my face, a zine that I believe was published in 2008 by a pair of folks named Chris Pointon & Stephanie Besselt-O’Leary? Above, you’ll see a detail from the cover of issue 2, wherein my poem “machines rumbling” was featured. The piece, which is fairly representative of what I was writing in those days, was accompanied by some art by a fellow by the name of Jesse Peterson. Check it out below.
I should have some new writing to share with you over the coming weeks. In the meantime, stay warm, stay safe, stay home if you can. Cheers.
